NFL Power Rankings - Week 10

The Colts are trending upwards and a new team makes the top 10.

1. New England Patriots: 289
Last Week: 1
Notes:  What else can you say about this team? Out of the 3 8-0 teams, they look the best.

2. Cincinnati Bengals:241
Last Week: 2
Notes: Another dominant performance by the 8-0 Bengals. They face the Texans before their toughest match-up yet; a road game against the Cardinals.

3. Carolina Panthers: 223
Last Week: 3
Notes: The Panthers showed why they're undefeated season is no fluke with an impressive win over the Packers.

4. Arizona Cardinals 189
Last Week: 4
Notes: If the Cardinals can beat the Seahawks on the road next week, they pretty much have the division locked up.

5. Denver Broncos: 173
Last Week: 5
Notes: After beating an undefeated Packers team, they lose in a close battle to a struggling Colts team. They should be able to rebound with a home against the Chiefs next week.

6. Green Bay Packers: 139
Last Week: 6
Notes:  The Packers haven't lost two games in a row since 2010. They should be able to stop this losing streak with a game against the Lions next week.

7. Minnesota Vikings: 111

Last Week: 8
Notes: The Vikings have won 4 in a row and are now tied for 1st in the NFC North. The 11/22 game against the Packers should be an exciting one.

8. Atlanta Falcons: 110
Last Week: 7
Notes: Losers of 2 in a row and 3 out of their last 4, the Falcons need to turn it around quickly or they might go from 6-0 to no playoffs. They're schedule gets tough with games against the Colts, Vikings, and two against the Panthers.

9. New York Jets: 99
Last Week: 9
Notes:  They're still not looking like the same team that played the first 5 games, but a win is a win. An important divisional game this Thursday against the Bills.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers: 72

Last Week: 11
Notes: They get the win, but they lose Ben for (likely) the entire season. It's a tough road ahead, but they still are looking like a favorite for the wildcard, especially with the tiebreaker over the Raiders.

11. Seattle Seahawks: 62
Last Week: 10
Notes: Winners of 2 straight, the Seahawks need to show they're still a top team with a home game against the Cardinals.

12. New York Giants: 57

Last Week: 15
Notes: The Giants remain in 1st with a win over Tampa Bay. They have their toughest match-up of the season against the Patriots.

13. Philadelphia Eagles: 55
Last Week: 14
Notes: A win over Dallas keeps them a half game behind the Giants. The NFC East really might come down to the last game of the season when these two teams face each other.

14. Buffalo Bills: 55
Last Week: 16
Notes: A great rushing effort by the Bills. They have an important divisional game against the Jets on Thursday. You know Rex Ryan will do whatever he can to win this game.

15. St. Louis Rams: 34
Last Week: 13

Notes: A close game, but the Rams find themselves on the losing end against the Vikings. They have two winnable games coming up, however, against the Bears and Ravens.

16. Oakland Raiders: 31
Last Week: 12
Notes:  Tough OT loss. A win would have put them in the driver's seat for the wild card. However, with a tiebreaker over the Jets and the Steelers losing Ben, this team has more than a legitimate chance of getting in. 5 out of their remaining 8 games area against teams with a losing record.

17. Kansas City Chiefs: 12
Last Week: 17
Notes: The Chiefs had a good bye week with their entire division losing.

18. Indianapolis Colts: -1
Last Week: 22
Notes: Are the Colts back? The win against the Broncos was certainly a good start.

19. New Orleans Saints: -14
Last Week: 18
Notes: After an exciting win over the Giants, they fall flat in OT against the Titans. They really do look like a .500 team.

20. Houston Texans: -40
Last Week: 23
Notes:  The Texans didn't have a great bye week with a win by the Colts. They have a tough two games coming up against the Bengals and Jets. They'll likely need to win 1 of these to stay alive.

21. Washington Redskins: -42
Last Week: 20

Notes:  Nobody expected them to come close to the Patriots and they didn't. With wins by the Giants and Eagles this week, the Redskins are pretty much done.

22. Miami Dolphins: -44
Last Week: 19
Notes: The excitement of a change in coach has worn off and the Dolphins look like their old selves.

23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: -59
Last Week: 21
Notes: Tampa Bay could have beaten the Giants if it weren't for mental errors

24. Baltimore Ravens: -61
Last Week: 25

Notes: The Ravens have the kind of 4 game stretch that could make things interesting for the wild card hunt if they can go 4-0. They have the potential to win all 4 of these games.

25. Chicago Bears: -72

Last Week: 30
Notes: A nice 4th quarter comeback by the Bears to keep their playoff hopes alive.

26. Tennessee Titans: -80

Last Week: 29
Notes:  They finally get another win. Don't expect it to be 2 in a row with a game against the Panthers.

27. Dallas Cowboys: -84
Last Week: 24
Notes: Put a nail in the coffin - the Cowboys are all but mathematically eliminated. Even if they go undefeated when Romo returns, they likely won't get in.

28. Jacksonville Jaguars: -95

Last Week: 27
Notes: It looked like anybody could be a last place team in the AFC South two weeks ago, but the Jags are slowly establishing themselves as the worst in the division.

29. San Diego Chargers: -99
Last Week: 26
Notes:  They blew a 4th quarter lead and now have lost 5 straight.

30. San Francisco 49ers: -120

Last Week: 31
Notes: Everyone mocked putting Gabbert in, but he gets the win. If they can pull of wins against the Seahawks and Cardinals things will start to get interesting.

31. Cleveland Browns: -124
Last Week: 28
Notes: The same old Browns - losers of 4 straight.

32. Detroit Lions: -172
Last Week: 32
Notes: Will be an ugly game against the Packers who have just lost 2 straight and will do anything they can not to lose 3.
